Default Transmission oil change

On Sunday I performed a drain and refill on my 2008 Maxima. I used the N-2 CVT fluid. Thanks Courtesy Nissan.
I wanted to swing by and check how I did. I can hear the transmission working a lot more crisp. None of the earlier noise. Very smooth gear changes.

Ofcourse the usual cock ups. The oil drain pan I ordered had the drain hole still closed so when I dropped the transmission pan bolt quite a bit oil ended up on the garage floor. Oh what a mess. I ended up cleaning all that using a degreaser (Purple power) and then cheap kitty litter from Walmart.

This is the level of the transmission fluid. It is slightly above the etching in the dip stick. I'd say a 4 mm. Apologies for the potato quality. Pics always seem cleaner on the phone.

It is a CVT. I misspoke. No gear changes just the operation.
The transmission sounded rough and when accelerating hard I could hear faint grinding sounds. None of that now, thankfully.
