Default Suggestions for rotors

I am in the market looking for new rotors; specifically the front ones on my 2008 Maxima SE. The ones I bought ~2 yrs ago were Powerstop and well I must say I am disappointed. The front ones warped bad and rather quickly too.

I read a few threads on the rotors but most seemed very old - especially the brake suggestions thread from EddyMaxx.

So my question is: what's a good front rotor for DD. I do not race the car.

Thank you for pitching in.

I went to o'reillys and got there lifetime warranty rotors. If they warped, i just got new ones for free. I did have a warped hub that was fucking up my rotors, so it was nice to get free rotors every 6months.

I have ran these same rotors on my old truck, old sentra and never had an issue with them for a dd.

It is odd that powerstop did not hold up. What is your driving style like. Do go through the car wash right after heavy brake driving.

I wash my own cars. Never slush it around. I don't race the engine and brake hard either. Bare 2 years and the rotors warped. What would be your suggestion? I am planning on swapping only the front ones as the rear ones are still good.

bee2ndmax:
Is there a suggested vendor for Alien? I was looking at Brembo blanks and they'll cost 110 shipped for the fronts.

Update: Before I went mad and replaced the rotors I wanted to check the real cause for the shudder in the steering wheel. So I opened up the caliper bolts and well... dry. I applied some Sil Glyde and put the wheels back. Re-torqued today and I can notice very little steering wheel shudder.

Now I am not sure if it was the calipers or the torquing that made all the difference but I don't want to blame the rotors as yet. They are warped just a little bit, not as much as I had thought.
