Default How To Install 350Z/G35 Rear Camber Arms

First, let me say that these are not 100% necessary, I already know that so let's not debate it in this thread.

Secondly, I decided to write this after-the-fact, so I didn't take as many pics as I probably would have if I had thought about this beforehand.

Now on to the How-To!

Items needed:
350Z/G35 Rear Camber Arms (I bought the Ichiba ones. There are cheaper ones, but they don't look as strong. Here's a link for the Ichiba ones on eBay: eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices)
WD-40, Liquid Wrench, etc.
17mm socket and/or wrench (my impact gun made it real easy, but it can be done without it)
19mm socket and/or wrench
Jack and jack stand

1. Jack up the car and place a jack stand under it.

Click the image to open in full size.

2. Soak the nuts & bolts with WD-40 and let them sit for 10-15 minutes.

Click the image to open in full size.

3. Remove the nuts, bolts and OEM arms. The lower nut and bolt are both 17mm. The upper bolt head is 19mm and the nut is 17mm.

4. Install the new camber arms.

Click the image to open in full size.

Click the image to open in full size.

5. Remove jack stand and let car down.

6. Take pics and post them or BE BANNED!

7. Most importantly, GO GET AN ALIGNMENT IMMEDIATELY!

No surprises really and not much to it, just get in there and get it done!

No problem. It wasn't that bad, I was making it worse in my head than it really ended up being.

I desperately needed this about 2yrs ago when I had a 2 inch drop in the rear. The camber killed my tires fast.

Use a wrench to turn the center part to spread or contract the outer sections. Good upgrade if your ruining tires because your riding the line of stock settings. good write up James. If you ever want company doing these mods hit me up. It isn't a terribly far drive and I can either take pics or do the labor.

So the g35/350z camber arms for on our cars?

And if I'm looking for a negative 1.5-2 camber would these do the trick?

So I just got these and from what I'm hearing now is that they don't really help??? I don't want to put these on if they don't help.

@officerfrasher Did you notice a difference in camber with these?

I just know what the alignment numbers say. And that's that they were able to get the camber right in the middle of where it's supposed to be. So yes, I FEEL like there's a difference.
