Default Doing Brake Pads First

so they been squeaking lately wondering can i do my pads without doing my rotors. i want to get sloted rotors after my taxes.. so is it safe or wrong?

It is safe, but you are going to get shimmy( vibration) down the road. Do rotors and pads at the same time. They bed in together and your brakes will be smooth upon application.

So I was doing them but looked at them and they weren't worn up.. one disk had a scratch in the middle so I don't end up replacing them . So should I return them back and buy a whole slotted disk and brake pads kit.?

why not get new pads and turn/resurface your current rotors?
